It's really about the unions. Less students in public schools means less teachers in public schools, and less teachers in public schools means less union members for the unions, and less union members for the unions means less $$$ for the unions...and THAT is all the unions care about. They brainwash their members, the teachers, the school board members, the parents, (and ultimately the children) into thinking that the only solutions to the public education problem are 1) more money and 2) more public education.

Your tax dollars should follow your child. Period.
