Scott Ross Loses Credibility

Scot Ross, executive direction of "One Wisconsin Now", wrote an article entitled, "Legislative Republicans AWOL on state budget fix". Why should anyone take Scot Ross seriously if his very first sentence is self-discrediting? The first sentence not only discredited Scot Ross, but Ross' website (One Wisconsin) as well. Here is the first sentence used by Scot Ross:
To dig us out of the historic economic crisis in Wisconsin, caused by disastrous policies of the Bush administration, our state legislators needed to come together.

Whoa!!! Big bad President Bush caused Wisconsin's budget crisis? Hey, Scot Ross, then why aren't Alaska, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Arkansas, Nebraska, West Virgina not doing that bad in terms of deficit per capita?

The reason why Wisconsin has the worst state deficit per capita has little to do with our current recession, but everything to do with Democrat spending. Scot Ross knows full well that Republicans are better off keeping their distance from radical Democrats while criticizing the budget proposal than meeting with Democrats that don't care about Republican input anyway.

So Scot Ross, keep your blinders on; you look much more fashionable with them.

  • Fred  - Ross had cred?
He had no cred to start with.

Demcorats made every decision on this budget on their own behind closed doors. They didn't give a damn what Republicans had to say. The Democrats own every job killing word of this budget.

Ross is nothing but a blind raging hate monger looking for a boggie man.

For the record this state's problems lie in the lap of Governor Jim Doyle and him alone. He has been expanding government on stolen funds and his ponzi scheme has fallen down around him.
  • Aaron M. Rodriguez  - Agreed
    Fred,

Right, but to those who aren't familiar with Wisconsin's game of politics, Scot Ross may seem somewhat credible.

Nah . . . , who am I kidding. I'm fairly sure that most of Ross' articles are discredited within the first paragraph anyway. Except with the One Wisconsin Now crowd.
  • Badmer  - You missed one
    Texas
  • Aaron M. Rodriguez  - Thanks for the heads up.
    Badmer,

    Hehe, my bad.
